What is the role?

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Officer/ Commercial Manager to join our busy Commercial team. Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager you will be responsible for preparing contract documents, providing commercial support and advice and assistance for the preparation of bids, tenders, contractual agreements and clarification issues in accordance with statutory and internal requirements. 

The main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Providing commercial support and advice to Project Managers & Bid Managers; 
  • Preparation and negotiation of contractual documents;
  • Compiling and submitting tenders and commercial responses to Clients to the required standard and deadline;
  • Reading, checking, amending and, where necessary, negotiating contract terms and conditions with Clients and Subcontractors;
  • Ensuring the Company is protecting, exploiting and acting correctly in relation to Intellectual Property and export control and other statutory matters;
  • Driving continual improvement in our commercial processes.
